Description
Private room with a bunk bed with twin mattress top bunk and double mattress on bottom bunk. Window, laptop desk and chair.
Private room (#10) is our accessible room, with a single (twin mattress) over a double (full mattress) bunk bed.
The room has 5ft diameter circle of floor space between the bed and door and a laptop desk that folds out from the wall.
Our hostel buildings are heated to 68-70 degrees in Winter months via central heating forced air.
Due to mild climate in Big Bear, none of our rooms have air conditioning.
This room has a visual and audible fire alarm above the door.
The door width is 34 inches.
Bathrooms
None of our rooms have private bathrooms. All bathrooms are residential style private locking bathrooms off the main hallway.
Room 10 is next to our accessible bathroom with toilet grab bars, shower grab bars, floating sink, shower chair and long shower head hose.
All of our entrance and bedroom door handles are levered handles.
The bathroom door width is 34 inches.
Please let us know in advance if there is anything we can assist you with.
We are a small family run business with limited office hours. Reservations are recommended for all guests and we try to touch base with all guests to arrange a time of arrival within our check in hours of 4pm-10pm so guests don't have to wait to check in if we are off on an errand during slow times.
If your desired dates show "Request" button on the ADA room, please send a request as we may be able to move guests around to accommodate your booking.

Big Bear Hostel and Group Cabin Rentals
Enjoy our village location with amazing views of the lake and mountains.
Walk across the street to the lake, shopping, restaurants, & nightlife.
Big Bear Group Cabin Rentals consists of two large residential style cabins.
We can host large groups up to 50 guests in 14 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms.
Smaller groups can rent portions of the buildings. Some rentals are large 3 or 4 bedroom vacation rentals. Other units are motel style with private entrance, mini fridge, Roku TV.
The Big Bear Hostel is also operated midweek (and some weekends) in the larger building. It is a great place for remote workers, single travelers, groups of friends and anyone who wants to stay in a cozy home-style shared living space. The hostel offers private rooms for 1-8 or a shared bunk room / dormitory option. Hostel guests share a kitchen, TV lounge and a huge deck with an amazing lake and mountain views.
Reservations required. No office on site. Caretaker lives next door.
